Jackie Namara Rukare
Board Member - Chair
Jackie chairs with precision and leads with heart, bringing over 25 years of global marketing leadership from Vodafone CMO and a 200%‑oversubscribed Stanbic Bank IPO to managing a $4 million Airtel Uganda budget and steering Guinness and Carlsberg brands at Diageo. Now a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, she chairs boards in technology and social entrepreneurship, mentors hundreds of East African marketers, co‑founded a diabetes support group, and holds an MBA from the University of Technology Sydney and a UK Certificate in Company Direction.
Roberto Ottolino
Board Member – Creative Strategy & Foresight
An internationally awarded creative strategist, author and lecturer, has spent his career driving award‑nominated campaigns for more than 50 global brands including Barilla, Mercedes‑Benz and Sony PlayStation out of Rome, Milan and London. Beyond crafting culture‑defining work shortlisted at Cannes Lions, Eurobest and ADC\*E, he now fuses futures literacy and design fiction to forge bold innovation strategies for startups and consultancies. As creator of the Freestyle School and author of #Freestyle and Ghost Notes, Ottolino also inspires the next generation of creatives at Italy’s top academies.
George Bamuturaki Kakuru
Board Advisor – Technology & Innovation
An MIT‑educated engineer and proud Ugandan whose on‑chip monitoring thesis was deployed at Analog Devices, has gone on to design high‑speed NAND memory, on‑chip power converters and ultra‑low‑power medical devices including an 8 μW ECG amplifier during tenures at Intel and SanDisk. A former national exam topper and USAP scholar, he now serves as a strategic thought partner on global tech boards, blending circuit simulation, software expertise and grandmaster‑like strategy to drive scalable, future‑forward semiconductor innovation.
Ritah N Muzaaya
Board Member - Legal Advisor & Company Secretary
An Advocate of the High Court of Uganda and East African Law Society member, has driven landmark transactions across Africa from MTN Uganda’s record‑setting $150 million IPO and Total/Gulf Africa Petroleum merger to structuring over $100 million in oil, solar and financial financings. A Makerere Law School Chief Justice Award winner with an LLM in International Commercial and Arbitration Law, she combines razor‑sharp strategy and foresight in cross‑border arbitrations, public interest litigation and corporate ethics advocacy.
Isaac Gwumah
Board Advisor – Research, Data
Isaac Gwumah is a pan‑African research strategist who’s led over 600 mixed‑methods R&D projects for blue‑chip brands such as Samsung, Diageo and Nestlé across fintech and FMCG. As Executive Director of the Bureau of Market & Social Research, he architects national development strategies shaping SME finance in WASH sectors and evaluating UNICEF, DFID and World Bank programs. Now advising organizations across Africa on data‑driven SME growth, he holds an MA from the University of Manchester and is a member of ESOMAR, the American Marketing Association and the Africa Marketing Confederation.
Justin Anyona
Board Advisor - Data & Digital Transformation
Justin is Africa’s digital architect, with 15 years driving data‑, tech‑ and media‑led growth. After localizing Google’s SMS Search and Baraza in Nairobi, he built WPP‑Scangroup’s first digital analytics unit, boosting digital revenues 3,400% in two years for Unilever, Airtel Africa and Coca‑Cola. As Google Industry Manager, he rolled out Shopping Ads, GMP and Data‑Driven Creatives across Sub‑Saharan Africa. He advises on data‑driven ecosystems turning measurement into measurable outcomes. He holds an Electrical & Electronic Engineering degree from the University of Nairobi.
Robert aka "The Chief Energy Officer"
Chief Executive
Robert bends data into revenue engines. For 17+ years, he’s architected campaigns that don’t just sell, they shift markets across telecom, banking, FMCG, insurance, government, pharma, NGOs, health, and energy. His fingerprints run from Kampala to São Paulo, Johannesburg to London, coding growth into campaigns. A pioneer of performance marketing in Africa, Robert fuses data science, behavioral economics, and outlaw creativity into work that scales. His 360° career cuts across software consulting, agency leadership, and client-side strategy. Armed with an MBA from Quantic in Washington D.C, leadership at Harvard, and a stack of Google and programmatic certs, he builds playbooks global brands now run on.

Alex doesn’t design ads; he detonates culture. For 17+ years he has fused African energy with global creative firepower, architecting campaigns that flip markets and stamp themselves on culture. His fingerprints stretch from Lagos to Kigali, Johannesburg to Kampala, rewriting playbooks for Heineken, Airtel, Smirnoff, Ciroc, L’Oréal, Access Bank, NGX Group, PSI, and Africa No Filter. From rebranding Nigeria’s capital markets to putting Rwanda Tourism on the map, Alex turns briefs into movements. An alumnus of SAE Institute and Arena Multimedia, he blends design thinking, AI-driven creativity, and street culture into work that feels alive. Armed with every creative weapon from Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, Maya, Cinema4D, to DaVinci Resolve, Alex is a one-man arsenal turning strategy into cultural shockwaves.
Brendalynn aka "The Engine"
Chief Operations Officer
Brendalynn is a field general of African marketing with over a decade of experience scaling chaos into clarity and turning bold ideas into revenue. She spearheaded Buzz Group’s Ghana launch, making Guinness a cultural icon and driving a 40% engagement uplift in Ghana and Uganda. She’s delivered integrated campaigns for Guinness, Tusker Malt and Chipper Cash; led fintech market entries; optimized user journeys for Lugelo Inc. in San Francisco; and managed 20+ Silk Events activations. She also led storytelling for Uganda’s Anti‑Corruption Unit and, as a Rotarian, champions youth empowerment through nationwide programs.
Joshua aka "the Tech Whisperer"
Chief Technology Officer
At 19, Joshua hacked an industry-grade audio player because rules don’t apply to him. Since then, his code has hijacked buses in Kenya to save 2,000+ tons of CO₂, 900K litres of diesel, and move 7.8M passengers, while ghost-running U.S. healthcare systems nobody else could secure. At ENGIE, he wired up platforms for 12M people across 10 African nations—smart grids, asset loans, backends that scale like myth. Fluent in Java, Python, GoLang, Elixir, TypeScript, PHP and cloud-native (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes), he rebuilt Uganda’s judiciary databases to millisecond speed and delivered BI, agri-tech, and e-learning systems. No online trails. No hype. Just genius, running silently at scale. Joshua doesn’t just lead tech. He is our backend.

Film & Studio Head
Godfrey doesn’t just make films; he builds worlds. For 12+ years he has turned brand narratives into cinematic experiences that move people, shift perceptions, and leave cultural scars. A master of screenwriting, directing, and production, his craft spans feature films, documentaries, branded content, and educational media, fusing African authenticity with global polish. His lens has shaped campaigns for WaterAid, Blue Band, Oxfam, Mastercard Foundation, World Data Lab, UGANET, and more. From advocacy to commercial icons, Godfrey’s work carries weight on streets and in boardrooms alike. A mentor and technical force fluent in Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, Cinema 4D, and DaVinci Resolve, he drives teams to deliver with precision. On set or in the suite, his mark is the same: powerful storytelling, relentless detail, and frames that endure.
Noah aka The Unreal Mason
Gaming Lead
Noah builds worlds where play becomes philosophy. As Head of Gaming, he fuses art, code, and culture to craft immersive experiences that teach, challenge, and inspire. His creative arsenal spans Unity, Unreal Engine, and Cocos2d-x, layered with Spine2D and DragonBones animation the DNA behind his signature fluid, emotionally intelligent gameplay. Trained in both software engineering and architectural design (ArchiCAD, SketchUp), Noah treats every level like a living space structurally sound, visually alive, and narratively purposeful. From Inkscape and Photoshop to DaVinci Resolve, Noah’s toolkit is both technical and poetic. Under his leadership, our gaming lab is redefining African game design turning ideas into universes and players into thinkers.
