The Challenge
In a sea of logistics players, Kibatu needed to stand out with:
- A recognizable identity visible at high speed
- A modern brand system that adapts from motorbikes to mobile screens
- Street-smart credibility and trust across neighborhoods and business parks
- And something rare—likeability.
The brand had to signal speed, but also reliability. Movement, but with meaning. We needed to design for both asphalt and attention spans.
Our Creative Approach
We focused on one core principle: Design That Moves.
This meant:
- Fluid shapes that communicate direction
- Sharp geometry for legibility on motion
- A color system that balances trust (deep navy) with energy (warm orange)
- Typography that feels as reliable as a delivery guarantee
Logo Design & Construction
The Kibatu logo was constructed with rhythm and precision. At its core is a dynamic geometric symbol—suggestive of road intersections, parcel tracking pins, and motion trails.
The typography is customized for bold visibility. Clean, grounded, and solid—just like a delivery promise.
We tested the mark across multiple surfaces: delivery boxes, reflective jackets, app splash screens, vehicle sides, and signage. It scaled and held, everywhere.
Visual Identity System
Color Palette:
- Midnight Navy – Trust, reliability
- Electric Orange – Speed, presence, alertness
- Soft Gray – Functional neutrality
Application & Merchandise
From fleet design to ID badges, poly mailers, caps, and mobile UI mockups, Kibatu’s identity is now a system in motion.
- Van Wraps: Branded for road presence, visible from meters away.
- Uniforms: Bold, breathable, and functional—worn by drivers and riders with pride.
- App Splash Screens: The brand lives digitally with bold load-in animations and iconography.
- Stationery: Modern letterheads, invoices, and delivery receipts ensure every touchpoint is consistent.
